Red Pirate (organic espresso), 250g
Dangerously good
The Caribbean used to be feared because of the many pirates.
Our espresso pirate has a strong body, a charming sweetness… with a finish that stays in your memory. So much for the similarities with its namesake.
It comes 60% from Colombia (Sierra Nevada) and 40% from Honduras (Marcala). It is an Arabica mix of the varieties Caturra, Typica and Pacamara.

The organic espresso tastes of chocolate, roasted almonds and dark cherries. It is suitable for preparation in a fully automatic machine, in a stovetop pot, in a portafilter and as “Turkish coffee”.
Origin:
This coffee has sailed over 7000 nautical miles. Climate-friendly. The Honduras portion came on the schooner "Avontuur", the green coffee from Colombia on the sailing ship "Gallant".
This espresso is predominantly made from delicious beans from Colombia, grown by small farmers from the Asoprocafé cooperative in the north of the country. They work exclusively according to the guidelines of organic farming. Their fields are in the Sierra Nevada near the port city of Santa Marta.
The Honduras portion - like all our Honduras beans - comes from producers in the Marcala/La Paz coffee region.
