Il Boulevardier è nato all'Harry's New York Bar di Parigi, di cui l’americano Erskine Gwynn, esponente dell’alta società, era cliente abituale. Fondatore della rivista letteraria “The Boulevardier”, fu lui a creare l'omonimo drink, preparato dal celebre barista Harry McElhone. È una sorta di Negroni a base di bourbon anziché di gin, che ti trasporterà direttamente sulle sedie in legno lucido e pelle del cocktail bar più celebre al mondo.
