Casarecce is one of the pasta formats especially selected by Almasicily in order to offer you the best of Sicily for your recipes. You will distinguish its intense scent among a thousand others: this is due to the characteristics of the Sicilian durum wheat mix branded Duilio, Arcangelo, Simeto, Timilia, Russello and Senatore Cappelli, especially selected to make our pasta. Almasicily pays great attention to the choice of raw materials and its production method. That is why our pasta is made out of stone-ground semolina through a slow drawing process and long-lasting low-temperature drying in order to preserve the integrity of flour, which thus keeps all the taste and genuineness of the Sicilian wheat.
How to cook: Pour the pasta into plenty of boiling salted water (about a liter for each 100gr of pasta). Cook for the time indicated on the packet, stirring occasionally. Drain the pasta and season to taste.
