Glasswort or “salt horn” is a small plant that grows in salt marshes on the Channel and Atlantic coasts .
Its harvest is done manually each year during the months of June and July. It is swollen with a delicious salty juice that allows its use in many recipes.
Drain before using.
Accompanies your salads, soups and pan-fried vegetables. Delicious on steamed fish, seasoning mayonnaise or a sauce for white meat.
