The deeply relaxed man from Honduras

Stretch out on all fours (or fives) and dream of the Caribbean – we think that works best with the fruity and at the same time chocolaty notes of our “Lazy Jack”. It contains 100% Arabica from Honduras (Catuai and Pacamara varieties).

  • Roasting level: 6 out of 11
  • Body: 6 of 11
  • Sweetness: 6 out of 11
  • Fruitiness: 5 out of 11

The coffee tastes good as a filter coffee, as a French press and when prepared in the Karlsbader pot.

Origin:

Lazy Jack organic coffee is grown by families organized in the Combrifol cooperative. The cultivation areas of the approximately 75 family businesses, a third of which are run by women, are located in the west of Honduras, in the mountains around the coffee town of Marcala/La Paz, at an altitude of 1200 to 1800 meters.

Fertilizers are used exclusively with natural fertilizers. Our coffee producers do not use chemicals on their fields. The Romero brothers' plants grow between peach and citrus trees. 36 of their own bee colonies ensure pollination and give the coffee beans a wonderfully light, fruity taste.

Added to this is the Catuai Arabica from the two Chica brothers, which contributes a velvety, chocolatey taste. When we tasted it, we tasted grapes, blackberries and milk chocolate. The combination is simple... but try it yourself!

The green coffee from our “Lazy Jack” has sailed almost 6,500 nautical miles.

After its long journey, it is roasted in Leipzig.
